JONAH JONES RUGBY TOURNAMENT - 31st July - 1st August / 21st August - 22nd August 1999
The oldest and largest rugby tournament in Malaysia. Organised by the Royal Selangor Club will held two different tournament. One in Penang at the Polo ground, which will determined the Northern Champions and the rest of Malaysia at Royal Selangor Club, Bukit Kiara. The first venue will be at the end of this month whilst the other will be on the 21st of August. Rugby fans, make yourself available for a weekend of fun and fiesta. There'll be a lot of fun things to do over there. This year promised a carnival like tournament, open barbeque, abundance beer, chicks, hunks, dildos, rugby jerseys of your favourite teams, etc, etc.
NS INTERNATIONAL RUGBY - 24th July - 25th July 1999
Organised by Tengku Bill's committee, also the owner of NS Wanderers will be running a big show this weekend. Promised to be an explosive tournament will see a few international players from Fiji, New Zealand, US, Japan and some other countries. Rugby fans, please do not waste this chance to see our local boys play international rugby. The game venue is at the Perbandaran Seremban field. You can't miss it, its near the Bus Terminal.
CONGRATS C.U.Bs
The CUBs of Royal Selangor Club played against a weaker opponent. The SMS boys were fast and agile but lack the weight and the brute force. Nonetheless, they have my respect for being a sport. hats off for them. They were downed by 51 to 10. This is their 7th win out of 9 games, they have one more game to go, if they win, they'll be in the fourth place behind ex-Lions, Cobra Stinger and Bantura. The CUBs will be sending a team to play in the Negeri Sembilan International this weekend (24th - 25th of July) in Seremban. All the best. Cheers cubs!
SPORTS LAB TO SQUEEZE 50% OF JOINING FEE
Its a gym, if some of you are wondering. It has the same ambience as CLARK HATCH gyms, its one of those arty-farty yuppie gym which I am a member. I would give 6 out of 10, the changing room is kinda small but comfortable, they have a swimming pool, aerobic sessions where the trainers are pleasant to look at, can't say the same for the rest. They also provide a free personal trainer who would make sure that you have a lean abs rather then what you have now. Their collection of dumbells and weights are not that impressive, they lack a few machines which I could make do with. Latest stationery machines to work your cardio. At the moment till the end of June 99, they are slashing 50% of their joining fee, which is equivalent to RM350. Apart from that, you'll only have to pay RM80 per month.
